ASSESS for the Internet is a state-of-the-art, computerized expert system that produces work-related assessments for use in the business environment. It is a business-to-business application that only requires an Internet connection and browser software for our clients to use.

When should ASSESS be used? To assist in the selection of outside candidates and for the promotion, placement or development of internal candidates.

Who is it for? ASSESS is designed and has been used for the evaluation of a variety of managerial, supervisory, and professional positions.
For example:

  • Middle and Upper Managers
  • Accountants
  • Engineers
  • Administrators
  • Computer Programmers
  • Supervisors
  • …and many other professional-level positions.

The test battery measures intellectual abilities and work-related personality characteristics. ASSESS reports evaluate test results to give the employer an integrated and comprehensive evaluation of the innate characteristics of the candidate.

The personality portion of the ASSESS test battery consists of 350 items drawn from a shortened and improved version* of the Guilford Zimmerman Temperament Survey(GZTS), scales from the Dynamic Factors Opinion Survey(DFOS) and additional scales developed by BHA.

The Standard Reports offer comprehensive information in the areas of intellectual ability, thinking style, work approach, motivations and interpersonal style.

The Competency Based Reports offer further insight into how an individual's personality may help or hinder the display of important organizational specific competencies.

Standard Reports
These are modeled after traditional assessment reports and provide insight into work-related behavior in the areas of Thinking, Working and Relating. Detailed descriptions are provided of:

  • Intellectual Abilities
  • Thinking Style
  • Work Approach and Motivation
  • Interpersonal Style
  • Approach to Influencing or Supervising Others
  • Interview and Reference Probes
  • Management Suggestions (with specific resources)
  • Developmental Suggestions (with targeted resources)
