The Career Transformation Workbook

The Career Transformation Workbook asks you to take the time to identify your values and visualize your work, your impact on others, and your success. Only you can determine your goals. Only you can execute your strategies and achieve these goals. The workbook helps you develop all the facets of the profile that will be your career, your business, or your business partnership by helping you to:

  • Build on the foundation of the experiences and competencies that you have developed over a lifetime.

  • Tap into your deepest desires to create the motivation for achieving something significant and meaningful.

  • Identify your core values which will serve as your moral and ethical compass in defining your work.

  • Look into the future through paradigms that are shaping and changing the nature of our lives and work.

  • Create a Vision for your future by imagining your life five and ten years from now.

  • Understand the nature and purpose of Vision and Mission statements so that you can create your own.

  • Write your preliminary career or business plan.

The Career Transformation Workbook consists of 15 chapters with brief introductions that set the stage for self-reflection and worksheets to guide the development of your thoughts. Through the process of thinking and writing, you develop your ideas into a meaningful plan for your life.

This is not something that you can sit down and knock out in a weekend. It's a process that requires reflection and "percolation." Highly motivated and disciplined individuals can work alone with the workbook, but most people find it a very enriching experience to combine their individual work with coaching and a support group.

Win Win frequently uses the CT Workbook to help entrepreneurs take their businesses from single-owner startups to thriving business enterprises. The CT Workbook is sold in our website store and comes with a telephone coaching session.

Executive and life coaches who are interested in adding this workbook to their consulting toolbox should contact Gail Schaper-Gordon, Ph.D.

From My Favorite Quotes:

"Opportunities do not come with their values stamped upon them. Every one must be challenged. A day dawns, quite like other days; in it a single hour comes quite like other hours; but in that day and in that hour the chance of a lifetime faces us."
