An Unexpected Benefit

The Value of Executive Coaching with External Consultants

Introduction

Win Win has recently been working with a number of clients to help resolve issues with key executives, facilitate executive planning/teambuilding retreats, and plan for business growth and leadership succession. Our clients, mostly CEOs and business owners, have been pleased with the results of our work and have also found additional value along the way, as we have become trusted advisors for them. We frequently function as "Executive Coaches" to these business leaders while providing business-consulting services.

The Consulting Process
We have had a flurry of new clients recently and are really excited about the improvements in their operations and the value being built in their companies. We are called to provide services ranging from executive retreats to assessments and recommendations for organizational improvement. This work often involves interviewing internal "stakeholders" (management and staff) or external stakeholders (customers/clients) and creating a picture of strengths/weaknesses and opportunities for the organization. This process creates a valuable tool for leaders to use in making decisions and guiding actions to take their companies to the next level of profitability, efficiency, or service.

Value Added

As we interact with key executives and owners, we often provide an extra benefit in addition to the promised consulting "deliverables": We become trusted advisors by offering executive coaching for our clients. This simply involves listening, engaging in dialogue, and offering advice; but the value is often quite significant. Our clients find great benefits in utilizing us as unique "thought partners," for a variety of reasons:

  • We are neutral, objective, and outside the politics of the organization.

  • We bring ideas and options from previous clients, who represent a broad variety of organizations.

  • We rely on our own backgrounds as practicing senior executives with significant personal experience in leading a variety of organizations.

  • Gail, in particular, brings vast experience, credibility, and insight as a organizational psychologist.

How Can We Support You?

Win Win is ready to help you in a variety of ways, including resolving employee issues, executive planning/teambuilding, and improving organizational performance. As a leader of your company, you can count on valuable work products from us; and you may be pleasantly surprised at the benefit you gain from your trusted advisors along the way.

Here's to taking your business to the next level!

From My Favorite Quotes:

"People with high levels of personal mastery do not set out to integrate reason and intuition. Rather, they achieve it naturally, as a by-product of their commitment to use all the resources at their disposal. They cannot afford to choose between reason and intuition, or head and heart, any more than they would choose to walk on one leg or see with one eye."
